Lower Your Stress to Get Rid of Acne

Having an acne outbreak can cause your stress level to flare up and higher stress levels can cause more acne breakouts. Yikes! It seems like a lose/lose situation both ways! Battling acne is an upsetting experience and it seems like you are alone in the world dealing with it. If you really want toget rid of acne, you have to work your hardest to not stress about it.

The more high-strung you feel, the more prone you are to seeing more acne appear on your face. Outbreaks are caused primarily by your hormones. When your body goes through changes brought upon by stress or lack of sleep, your skin will respond accordingly.

In order to get rid of acne, you’ll have to take steps to unwind. Basically, the best thing you can do for your skin is to RELAX. Here are a few things you can do to improve the health of your skin:

- Get more sleep! 7-8 hours of sleep per night is the recommended amount for a reason. Your body NEEDS the rest! Putting too much strain on your own self will make your stress levels skyrocket.

- Meditating is a good way to relax. Take some time every day to just sit in silence and forget about your problems. That means turn your phone off, shut the computer down, and just BE.

-Exercise more. A good cardio workout routine will get your blood flowing and you will sweat out toxins that normally would exude through your skin after sitting in your body too long. You will also look and feel better in addition to having beautiful skin!
